Setiap kaleng berisi dua bungkus tertutup rapat, masing-masing berisi delapan jari kue. Shortbread House menggunakan metode tradisional dalam membuat jari kue shortbread. Setelah adonan dipanggang dalam loyang, mereka memotongnya menjadi jari-jari dengan tangan selagi masih hangat dari oven.
